Noted Goan signer Gautami Hede Bambolkar has been selected in the top 10 of the ‘Benadryl Big Golden Voice’ season 6. She has been selected amongst more than two lakh voices across India and is now being mentored by none other than Sonu Nigam in Mumbai where she will battle it out for the top position amidst other great opportunities.
Gautami has been learning Hindustani classical singing since age of 10, under the guidance of Pandit Ramrao Nayak and has completed Visharada. She has participated in many singing competitions in and outside Goa and has bagged many prizes.
Gautami has received the title of Goan Idol in 2010. Also being called the Singing Legend and Gomant Sitara, Gautami has won the title of Utkrusht Gayika in Naandi competition and has been awarded as best playback singer at Goa Konkani and Marathi Film Festival 2015 for Konkani movie Gunaaji too. Apart from Gunaji, she has also given play back for two more films, Suring and Mogan Tujea.
Not limiting her singing for films, Gautami has lent her voice to dramas, jingles and albumbs in various languages. Some of her albums are Hazaar Zaita, Moga Mhajya, Baaki Prem, Re Damodara, Damodar Tujo Damodar Mhajo, Sparsh Tuza, Bhakti Sargam, Rang Jineche, Dosti, 16 Janera, Shaani Masti part 1,2,3,4,5 etc.
