This was the song that broke through barriers. George Michael hired Thierry Mugler to direct the video and in came the supermodels Christy Turlington, Cindy Crawford, Linda Evangelista, Naomi Campbell, and Tatjana Patitz. The entire shoot had Michael and Mugler at loggerheads over various issues, but the end product is just brilliant. The video made many stand up and take notice, not just of George Michael, who had to constantly prove himself, but of the fashion world and the supermodels.
