It's become an indispensable part of our life. Yet, are you using Google to its full potential or searching for things the right way. Here's a few things you probably didn't know that Google could do

Use google as a timer: Looking to time yourself but can't seen to find a timer anyway. No worries. Google to the rescue. Just type “ set timer 20 minutes” ( or however long you want it to be) in quotes and voila

Don't miss the sunrise- If you're lookig forward to watching the next sunrise just type 'sunrise' and the name of your city. e.g. Sunrise Delhi

Do a barrel roll- Just type 'do a barrel roll' and watch as Google does as you command

Go back in time- Ever wondered how Google looked way back in 1998? Just type 'Google in 1998' in the search bar and then pretend you are back in the 90's.

Watch your calorie intake- Confused over whether you should opt for some rice or potatos? Just type potatos vs rice in the search box and google will give you a calorie check.

Function in Klington- If you're a keen Star Wars fan and would like to do your googling in their language too. Just add '/xx-klingon' to the end of the URL .

The meaning of the symbol- Google Translate also works on symbols. There's a manual feature on it that allows you to draw characters or symbols and discover what they mean.
