Don Bosco College’s Women Cell had organized a talk/session on law related to women recently. Adv Albertina Almeida conducted a session for the BPEd and social work students of the college. Almeida made students aware of women related issues and laws. She spoke on gender inequality, sexual harassment and other issues related to women rights. She gave the students a brief overview of sexual harassment at workplace and how women can be protected from sexual harassment.
The speaker emphasized on the impact of sexual harassment on women and protection of women from violation. She also highlighted and spoke on gender equality and said both man and woman play a vital role in the creation and development of society in general and spoke about healthy relationships between the sexes.
The speaker conducted a short quiz for the students at the end of the session.
