Hindi film Shaheed E Vatan on Bhagat Singh released

The Hindi short film based on three Indian revolutionaries Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev and Rajguru named as Shaheed-E-Vatan by Navodaya Creation was released recently at the Rajiv Gandhi Kala Mandir in Ponda.


Penned by Anil Atma Naik from Marcel, the music of the short film is arranged by Akshay Naik. Many artists from remote areas of Savoiverem and Marcela have acted in this short film. This short film with duration of twenty five minutes rolls in the present situation of nation, where in corruption and other issues are presented.
The three martyrs Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev and Rajguru comes to meet Mother India and they become sad after Mother India narrates the sufferings.
On the occasion of its release, noted director and film producer Dharmanand Vernekar, tiatrist and actor John D'silva, actor Tapan Acharya, Anil Atma Naik and Siddhesh Kumatekar were present.
The role of Bhagat Singh is played by Gautam Gaude, Rajguru's is performed by Aniket Bhagat and Sukhdev by Dhanraj Shet Verenkar. Pruta Parab has played role of Mother India. It is directed by Sidhesh Kumathekar and cinematography by Abhijit Salgaonkar.
Writer Anil Naik said that he has tried to portray the facts of today's era, about how the divide and rule policy is used over some issues. "Hence to evolve, the new generation needs good thoughts and to realise the sacrifice of our three martyrs. That's why I went forward with this production," added Naik."
Tapan Acharya said that this moment is a door opening to commercialisation in this field. " Your work is commendable. Though there are complaints about we not getting infrastructure in Goa for film production, but you have proved to give quality film by using minimum facilities." He said.
He suggested the team to upload the film on Youtube so it reaches to masses.
Dharmanand Vernekar said that film production needs vivid forms of art and he is happy to see it gathered in village areas. "Cinema image is larger than life. We can give lot of good things thorough good concept." He said.
John D'silva also spoke on the occasion.
