It could have been a song that many 10 year olds could listen to and say, “I wrote a song like that.” They could be right. Rebecca Black’s Friday became famous (or infamous) for all the wrong reasons, most of them had to do with the clear kindergarten styled mood of the song, courtesy the lyrics. Now Black didn’t go on to become a Mandy Moore or Britney Spears, perhaps because her luck ran out with this song. So why are we listening to this song on a Friday?
