You’ve seen Vir Das, arguably India’s best stand-up comic on the telly or on the big screen. Here’s your chance to see him in person today in Goa. Das along with his gang of chronic gagsters are in town today and according to reviews of this particular show which was also held in other cities before it moved to Goa, it promises to be a hilariously good outing.
The promotional literature about Jesters Without Borders and their Pajama Festival simply puts it as a “show where people from different parts of the world come together and talk in front of people while those people laugh. No, it’s not a UN meeting. Catch Vir Das and the rest of the world at the Pajama Festival because we need to show off our diversity”.
Apart from Das, other comics who are participating in the show are big ticket comics from India and abroad, namely Sharul Channa, Imran Yusuf, Mandy Knight, Raj Sharma, Butch Bradley and Goa’s Daniel Fernandes.
The event will be held at the Ravindra Bhavan in Margao town, 35 kms south of Panaji.
