This was one of his first hits as a solo artiste. When George Michael quit Wham and decided to go off on his own, people wondered what would become of the pop star, but he proved that he was the consummate musician with this song. It became a staple dance floor anthem for many across the world, even in Goa, where bands would play this song regularly, sometimes even during the jive session. For George this was a testament to the faith that he had in himself and in his music. He went on to have many hits beyond this song but Faith will remain one of our favourites.
