After deleting all her Instagram pics on January 8 leading to rise of rumours, actress Lidsay Lohan is back on the photo sharing site, posting pictures from her meeting with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and seven-year-old Syrian blogger Bana al-Abed. Lohan shared an image of herself standing with President Erdogan, his wife Emine and Bana at the presidential palace In her second post, Lohan was seen sitting with the President and his wife at their home on the outskirts of Ankara.
Lohan was also featured in a video shared by seven-year-old Bana on Twitter, in which the actress said: "We want to send to all of the people in Syria and Aleppo suffering, and to all the refugees, we are here supporting you and you can hang on and be strong. Just like Bana has.”
After Lohan wiped her Instagram clean, a statement said she was "in a period of renewal, and is very excited for what the new year holds.” Lohan herself commented: “I am so excited for this new chapter in my life!”
Lohan’s meeting with President Erdogan and Bana came on the same day that President Donald Trump signed an executive order temporarily banning refugees from Syria from entering the US. The order also barred entry into the United States for citizens of Syria, Iran, Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, and Yemen for 90 days.
