Here's one for all the Audrey Hepburn admirers out there. As part of the Film For Thought programme, Arvind Sivakumaran will host the screening of Love in the Afternoon on November 30, 6.15 pm at Sunaparanta amphi theatre. The 1957 film directed by Billy Wilder is about 129 minutes long. Audrey Hepburn shines in Wilder's charming and under-rated romantic comedy/drama about an unabashedly romantic Parisian girl who falls for an American playboy (Gary Cooper). The film gloriously reconfirms the cinematic cliche of Paris as the city of unexpected love. The screening is open to all.
