The NAMAH chorale will be accompanied by Nicole Williams along with Carlos Gonsalves on percussion while Asha Upadhaya will express amore in dance form. Svetlana Pinto will be making her debut at this concert while performing the Italian opera "lo ti penso amore" by David Garrett. Other soloists who will perform along with NAMAH are Ninoschka Pinto and John D'Costa. Another performance to look forward to is the staging of the Baba Yetu, a Swahili version of the prayer 'Our Father', in 6 voices.
Amore, the 10th anniversary concert by the NAMAH Society will be held on January 30, 7 pm at the DMK Hall, Kala Academy, Panaji. The exquisite line up of artists and performances are specially designed with the focus on the theme of Amore. The evening will feature the Majolly Music Trust Choir from Bangalore, Forefront Band, Asha Upadhaya, the Don Bosco College Fusion group and the Namah Chorale accompanied by Nicole Williams and Talking Drums Carlos Gonsalves. The concert is in aid of music education of the underprivileged in Goa, and students from the National Association of the Blind will showcase their performance.
