Fans of the fantasy genre, don’t look away, read this. Now this isn’t your normal fantasy story (read: dragons, witches and all that stuff), but it does involve magic, a magical world, evil characters and lots of…oomph! (if you know what we mean).
The Magicians is a series of books by Lev Grossman, which was later turned into a television series on Syfy and on Colours Infinity here in India. The first season was quite interesting, intriguing, invigorating, etc etc. Now the trailer for the second season is out, but before we get into what the second season is all about, let’s bring you up to speed on what The Magicians is all about. So, Quentin Coldwater loves this series of books about a land called Fillory, which is a magical land. After a while he realizes that not only is he a magician but that Fillory is actually real, although dangers exist everywhere and something called The Beast is spreading evil everywhere. So, Quentin sets out with a few friends to find Fillory, defeat The Beast and so on. Watch Season 1 to find out what happened.
