Goa Tourism Development Corporation is all geared up to start its monsoon trekking expedition for the season on June 12 The first trek will commence with a theme ‘ which will kick-off all the expeditions that will follow every Sunday from June to September 2016.
The upcoming trek will comprise a short trip through narrow lanes of a small village in the Sattari Taluka. The most important facet of this place is the ; meaning honeystone, a rocky geographical set-up with honeycombs and a clear river flowing beneath will give one and all a unique experience to this trek.
Come and experience this magical time of the year and enjoy the raindrops crashing down and quenching nature’s thirst, the cool down temperatures and set in an ambience of lush greenery, flora and fauna and water pools for paper boats and a thrilling splash.
The bus will depart from Paryatan Bhavan, Patto, Panaji at 8.30 am, Margao Residency at 8 am and Mapusa Residency at 8 am. Delicious lunch will be provided at the venue.
How to participate: The trekking expedition is open to all especially those with a spirit for adventure and nature lovers.
What you need to bring along: Suitable rainwear, comfortable footwear, set of dry clothes, a towel, eco-friendly bag to carry back any waste. No consumption of alcohol or smoking will be permitted.
Participation fee: Rs 700/- per head.
