Konkani movie lovers were in for a treat as the award winning Konkani film Noshibacho Khell premiered in Panaji recently. The first show of the Harry Fernandes directed film was held at the ESG, Campal. The film stars choreographer Elton Mascarenhas of 'Nach Baliye' fame and Ester Noronha in lead roles with important performances by Prince Jacob, Ranjitha Louis, Clenvin Fernandes, Sujatha Andrade, Stany Alvares, Alwyn Andrade and Arun Raj.
Rochelle Fernandes bagged the first place for her song ‘Eleisanv’ in the recent Konkani Kantaram Competition on Ethical Voting. The competition which was held at the Conference Hall of Tiatr Academy of Goa in collaboration with the office of the Chief Electoral Officer aimed at creating awareness among the voters.
