There's supercalifragilisticexpialidocious news! The beloved 1964 Disney musical Mary Poppins which originally starred Julie Andrews and Dick Van Dyke is getting a sequel from Chicago director Rob Marshall Marshall's sequel, a live-action musical film, will draw from the works of Mary Poppins author PL Travers to create a new adventure for the magical nanny and the Banks family. Disney already mined the behind-the-scenes drama of Mary Poppins two years ago for the Oscar-nominated Saving Mr Banks.
