Elocution, singing contest for youth
PANAJI: The Adventz Group, a conglomerate of some of the major industrial companies in India, is all set to organise 'Youth for Tomorrow' festival, through which they hope to usher in a change in the mindsets of young people. Students from 15 schools across Goa will participatein two events “ an elocution competition and a solo singing competition, in the months of October, November and December.
The topics for the elocution competition are 'Envisaging on the Goa of tomorrow', 'Does sustainability and development go hand in hand?', and 'Re-imagining careers in Goa.' The festival will be held at three levels - intra school in October; semi finals on November 28, in which two finalists will represent their school in the two categories, and the finals will be held on December 2, at Kala Academy and will see eight chosen students vying for the Adventz Challenge Shield.
