Scarlett Johansson has been revealed as the highest grossing actress at the box offices in movie history, according to the tracking site Box Office Mojo. The star is tenth in an overall list of the highest-grossing names in cinema history. Johansson, who began her career as a child actor and has built a reputation for stand-alone successes, blockbusting franchise vehicles and well-received indie flicks over the years, has starred in movies that have collectively grossed $3.3 billion at North American box offices. She is also the youngest star, either male or female, in the top ten of the list, which is topped by 73 year old Harrison Ford whose receipts totalling $4.88 billion.
