Internationally trained dance artists Gautam Nima and Pushpanjali Sharma will be conducting a free contemporary dance workshop from December 17 to 23 at Ravindra Bhavan, Margao. This workshop will offer participants the opportunity to get introduced to world-class contemporary dance techniques as well as performance skills.
Gautam and Pushpanjali have both acquired their Masters in the field of Performing Arts from United States of America and have performed on world-renowned stages in India as well as abroad. Gautam and Pushpanjali’s work is informed by their professional training in dance disciplines such as Ballet, Jazz, Modern, Contemporary, Contact Improvisation and Choreography. They are also professional singers, musicians and theatre artists. Pushpanjali is a certified Yoga and Pilates teacher as well as a Somatics practitioner. They have travelled and trained extensively in various parts of the world such as New York City, Virginia and Michigan in the U.S.A., and Frankfurt-Germany.
