Upgrade Connect is organising an essay and drawing competition for school students and open to all category. The purpose of the competitions is to get the younger generation to start thinking about building a better nation. The theme for the essay competition is ‘Upgrade India’. The essay has to be not more than 1000 words and should be submitted in English. There are two categories for the essay competition: Below 10th standard and an open category. Entries will be judged on the impact of the idea, creativity and writing skills. The last date for submission of entries in September 25.
The theme for the drawing competition is ‘Swachh Bharat’ and can be submitted on A3 or A4. The categories here are 4th standard and below, 5th to 10th standard and an open category. Drawings will be judged on relevance to the theme, creativity and neatness. The last date for entries for the drawing competition is September 24.
Winners will be felicitated at the unique business event Upgrade Connect which will be held Panjim Community Centre on October 8 and 9. A selection of the best entries in the essay and drawing competition will be collated and presented to the honourable Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi’s office.
