Coldplay think they've figured out why their reign on top of the pop world has lasted 15 years.
"First of all, we love [what we do]. It's really, really what we all feel called to do, so it's very satisfying to do it,” said Martin. “ Secondly, I think over time we've learned to feel grateful for it because the period we've been a band has been such a shifting time in music. It's just not ever been a time where you can take something for granted. Because of the dynamic we have… it keeps us all very grateful. We've had such amazing people help us out, and work with us, and give us a break. We owe so many people such a debt of gratitude." Another key to Coldplay's success could be that they don't get caught up in petty gripes that can tear a band apart over time.
