Goa Forward Chief Vijaibab Sardesai must be certainly pleased at the political developments emerging in the Congress party. With the Congress under Girishbab Chodankar literally cold-shouldering his offers for an alliance, Vijaibab may now see a ray of hope that the new Congress leadership will see reason and forge an alliance to keep the saffron brigade at bay. With Assembly elections a year away, Goa Forward and Congress may face an acid test in the ensuing Municipal polls.
