Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has finally returned home from abroad and was spotted watching Jallikattu in poll-bound Tamil Nadu earlier this week. Local Congressmen, however, were trying to figure out whether Rahulji has any plans to take time off to grapple with the dhirios brewing in the Goa Congress triggered by the ZP poll debacle, culminating in the resignation of GPCC Chief Girishbab Chodankar. Well, Congressmen expect Rahulji not just to take a call on Girishbab’s resignation, but put to rest the leadership issue. Time is indeed running out for the Congress party with 2022 electoral battle just a year away.
