State Congress Chief Girishbab Chodankar is one Congress leader who never misses a single opportunity to take on arch-rival, Goa Forward supremo Vijaibab Sardesai. That the duo was engaged in many a bitter battle in the past is an open secret. Questions, however, are being raised in political circles within the Congress and outside why Girishbab did not move quickly against the Goa Forward chief when Sardesai spoke about taking over the Congress party. Either Girishbab had allowed the Goa Forward Chief to go scot-free or was he aware of the reality that Vijaibab is in touch with Delhi leaders of the party.
