Veteran Congress leader Kapil Sibal’s exit from the grand old party coupled with reports that no senior leader reached out to assuage his sentiments has brought the focus back on Digambar Kamat again. It’s now over a month since the seven-time Margao MLA has been staying away from party programmes. After he lost the race for the post of Opposition leader, Diggu has skipped function after function. And, if sources from Malbhat are to be believed, no senior Congress leader has reached out to Diggu to find out what his grievances are all about.
