Post the Assembly election result, many a defeated candidate opted to shut down offices, leaving their supporters and workers confused. BJP Fatorda candidate Damubab Naik has become the latest leader to pull down the shutters of his office. The former MLA, sources said, has shut down his office after his spirited campaign to stop arch-rival Vijaibab Sardesai from playing third successive innings came a cropper. But, has Damubab decided to quit politics? No way, sources said as the former MLA had just turned 50 last year.
