It’s a sheer coincidence that nothing has been heard from Goa Forward Party chief Vijaibab Sardesai nor the party’s spokesperson on GPCC chief Amitbab Patkar’s stand that the Congress-Goa Forward alliance still stands. Post-2022 election results, when the Congress was stranded way back with 11 seats and the Goa Forward leadership sulking over the Congress’ refusal to concede more seats, Vijaibab had raised questions over the very future of the alliance. It’s another matter that Vijaibab later joined Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo campaign in Madhya Pradesh. Any questions?
