Congress party’s Young Turks in Nuvem constituency have begun to wonder whether Nuvem figures in party Chief Girishbab Chodankar’s scheme of things in fielding new and young faces in the 2022 election. The question has assumed all the more significance and comes against the backdrop of reports that party heavyweight Aleixobab Sequeira is back in the reckoning for the ticket after a gap of a decade. Girishbab’s announcement on fielding the youth may ring in good news, young Turks in Nuvem, however, are trying to figure out whether the GPCC Chief will take up cudgels for them at the time of ticket distribution.
