The much-talked-about Opposition alliance to take on the saffron brigade in the 2022 polls still remains a far cry. And, Mamata Didi’s TMC’s entry seems to have further thrown up a host of questions on opposition unity. It’s still unclear whether the Congress would stitch an alliance with regional outfits, including the Goa Forward and MGP, and whether these two regional parties would tie-up with the TMC to form a third front to unitedly fight the 2022 polls. With politicians and their parties still in Diwali celebration mode, observers say things may appear clear after a week. Let’s wait and watch!
