Are there any takers for South Goa MP Francisco Sardinha’s stand that the Congress should not have any truck with the Goa Forward to fight elections for the Margao Municipality? Well, a no nonsense Sardinhbab came out strongly against the proposed alliance between the Congress and Goa Forward on grounds the civic polls are not held on party lines. The alliance row, sources said, had hit the Congress when party observers were in the State around the same time to oversee the membership drive. Wait till mid-next week for an answer.
