When PWD Minister Nilesh Cabral descended at Navelim earlier this week to review the sewerage works, he thundered that it was held up on account of the village feast. Navelim feast took place in November but is Cabral aware of the bitter fact that sewerage works in Margao have been kept on hold because of the old market feast fair. Or, is it Cabral’s way of expressing his displeasure with the stoppage of works at the old market after Diggu stepped in to allow the fair or is it that the minister made no mention of the old market fair so as not to antagonize the Margao Congress-turned-BJP MLA. Interesting, isn’t it?
