Why has the Congress not declared in its third list the names of candidates for the party strongholds of Velim, Nuvem, Curtorim and Benaulim constituencies? Is rebellion the cause behind the delay in unveiling the candidates or is it that the party leadership is out to accommodate their choice of candidates in these four seats, including Loutolim and Velim, where party working president Aleixo Sequeira and south district congress chief Joe Dias respectively are contenders for the ticket. Whatever may be the reasons, the delay has left the prospective candidates to leave their fingers crossed.
