It is sad and shocking to see horrible accidents in Goa due to rash and negligent driving. Two IRB Police constables at Seraulim check post lost their lives on duty at night by the speeding car and within 24 hours another accident took place at Gandhinagar, Raia where a car hit a two-wheeler killing both husband and wife on the spot. These are all young people leaving behind children.
Innocent people are losing their lives because of these people who drive after being intoxicated. Rules and regulations are only for the poor and remain on a piece of paper . People are taking the law for granted. Goa police should immediately take action against these law breakers. Police are not doing their duty as needed.
Law breakers do not fear the Goa police as they think that they can buy them anytime as they dance to tune of politicians. Hope the state government and Goa police take serious action and maintain the law and order situation in the State before bigger casualities occur.
