Political pause: Saxtti leaders on break amidst post-poll lull
After the May 7 gruelling Lok Sabha campaign, a host of political players seemed to have gone out of station to take a break from the hustle and bustle of politics. Saxtti’s two prominent politicians are reportedly holed abroad, while others have just returned after a short vacation or pilgrimage. That the CM capped the discussion, describing Vijaibab as his good friend, only drove home the point there are no permanent friends and enemies in politics. Any questions?

When Varca strongman Bab Churchill promised to vote for Congress candidate Captain Viriatbab Fernandes in the recently held Lok Sabha election, many were left to wonder it’s fallout on his relationship with Chief Minister Pramodbab Sawant. For, the BJP must have expected the two-time former MP to rally behind the saffron party-backed candidate Pallavibai Dempo. That CM Pramodbab was a prominent invitee at Churchillbab’s 75th birthday celebrations along with Minister Subhashbab Phal Dessai not only showed their bonhomie but raised many an eyebrow in political circles. Any questions?
