MARGAO: Salcete FC cruised past FC YFA with a comprehensive 2-1 victory in the GFA U-17 Second Division League, at Dramapur ground, on Friday.
Salcete FC made their intentions clear from the early minutes. In the third minute, Sandey Andrade punted the ball to the far corner of the net.
Crossing over, YFA struggled to find their rhythm and Steven Gomes inflated the tally for Salcete Club in the 75th minute. YFA managed to score a consolation goal when Yohann Souza slotted past the rival goalkeeper in the 82nd minute.
