Silence is golden, so goes the saying. Opposition leader Digambarbab Kamat had maintained a stoic silence on son Yogiraj’s foray into politics. And, he had a reason to do so. Take note, Yogiraj was preparing the ground to contest from Ward no 18 of Margao Municipal Council. Still, Diggu did not rush to the media with any announcement, aware that the saffron brigade holds the key in the ward reservations. As it turned out, Ward No 18 has been reserved for OBC, scuttling Yogiraj’s plans to enter electoral politics. Has Diggu put in place any alternate plan? Wait and watch.
