Saxtti’s lone Minister Aleixobab Sequeira is believed to have returned home on Friday from a tour of Europe. Opposition leader Yuribab Alemao who had proceeded on a vacation to Europe and the Gulf with family has returned back. So is Congress Quepem MLA Altonbab D’Costa, who is back from a tour of Europe. Congress-turned-BJP Margao MLA Diggu, who flew to Japan with family, is expected to reach home tomorrow. Goa Forward chief Vijaibab Sardesai and Man Friday Durgadasbab Kamat, who had reportedly gone on a pilgrimage to Nasik and Shirdi, are expected to return during the weekend. Any questions?

Congress Goa desk in-charge, Manikrao Thakare’s announcement that the INDIA bloc will continue in Goa has raised questions whether the alliance would be extended to the June 24 by-poll for the Benaulim Zilla Panchayat seat. While Congress-turned-BJP Margao MLA Diggu had set 10,000-vote lead target for the BJP in his fiefdom, Congressmen led by Saviobab Coutinho says the rival camp will get a shocker on June 4 when the EVMs are opened for counting. Friends-turned-foes clash over controversial Margao flyovers
Friends-turned-foes Goa Forward chief Vijaibab Sardesai and Congress-turned-BJP MLA Diggu seemed bracing up for yet another round of battle, this time over the Margao flyovers. With the Centre granting a nod for the Victor hospital-La Flor hotel flyover, Vijaibab was quick to register his protest, saying the Centre’s nod for the flyover is a nod for vote bank politics. Vijaibab seemed angry over the Centre’s approval for the flyover, more so when CM Pramodbab Sawant had assured on the floor of the Assembly that the Comba railway crossing flyover will receive government’s priority.
