As anticipated, former BJP MLA Kiranbab Kandolkar finally embraced the Goa Forward Party earlier this week. What, however, has come as a surprise was Goa Forward’s decision to award Kiranbab the post of party working president. Sources said the post of working president had to be specially created for Kiranbab at the instance of party Chief Vijaibab Sardesai. The working president’s post has been apparently awarded to Kiranbab on two counts, one, to bestow on the former MLA the importance he deserved and to send a clear signal to the community members that the Goa Forward takes everyone along.
