Chandrakant Harijan juggled the ball 8083 times at one go to win the football juggling contest conducted by The Sports Authority of Goa (SAG) as part of its Sports and Fitness Week 2021.

Chandrakant Harijan produced a splendid performance to win the boys’ 16-20 age category. Adarsh Raj juggled the ball 7105 times to emerge second. Amanda Dias (770 juggles) won the girls’ 16-20 age category.
Results: Boys (11-15 years) - 1st - Piyush Malviya (776), 2nd “ Emmanuel Gama (640), 3rd - Vedant Naik (551); Boys (16-20 years) - 1st - Chandrakant Harijan (8083), 2nd - Adarsh Raj (7105), 3rd - Devendra Puri (5357); Girls (11-15 years) - winner - Cia Almeida (180); Girls (16-20 years) - winner - Amanda Dias (770).
SAG carrom tourney
SAG also organised an inter-zone carrom tournament for the coaches by Zone 6 (Coaching Section) at Ponda Sports Complex. Results: Men’s doubles “ winners - Gauresh Fadte & Dinesh Gaude (Zone VI), runners-up - Vinay Sambhary & Santosh Mhapsekar (Zone III); mixed doubles - winner - Anand Naik & Snehal Parwar (Zone VI), runners-up - Erisa Falerio & Valanky Dhumaskar (Zone III).
