Curtorim Gymkhana moved to the quarter-finals after defeating Goa Velha SC 4-2 in the 1st Antonio Rebelo Memorial, organised by Curtorim Gymkhana, at DSYA ground, on Thursday.
Curtorim Gymkhana scored the first goal through Mario Mascarehas in the second minute. Aliston Fernandes scored the second goal for Curtorim in the 23rd minute.
In second half, Curtorim Gymkhana scored the third goal through Josslan Fernandes in the 32nd minute to make it 3-0. Goa Velha pulled a goal back in the 33rd minute through Franky Cabral to make it 3-1. Mario Mascarehas scored his second in 39th minute to make it 4-1 for Curtorim. Sarnjeev Kunkalkar scored goal for Goa Velha in the the 47th minute to make it 4-2.
Josslan Fernandes of Curtorim Gymkhana was given the man of the match and Sahil Shaikh of Goa Velha SC was the best defender of the match and were awarded by Curtorim Gymkhana executive member Savlo Naik.
