South Goa United Club of Sports and Culture blanked United Club of Seraulim 3- 0 in the Third Division league Salcete Zone play off and qualified for the Second Division league, at Rosary Ground,Navelim on Thursday.
The game kicked off with South Goa setting a blistering pace early in the game and their efforts found fruition in the 26th minute when Bevan D'Mello slotted past the rival keeper. South Goa intensified their assault and doubled their lead in the 78th minute when Felix Varghese calmly lobbed the ball to the left of rival keeper. Chirag Mardolkar fired home in the 83rd minute.
Antonio Pango Sr Vice president of Goa Football Association and Executive members Cosme Oliveira Andrew Ferrao, Constancio Paul Rodrigues and Custodio Fernandes were present.
