Nandesh Raikar of Parra Fitness Club, Parra was crowned Champion of Champions, Mr Hydra 2023, at the State level bodybuilding competition Mr Hydra 2023 organised by Prerna Kala Sanskrutik Sanskrutik Mandal at New Municipality Building, Curchorem. Pitbull Gym, Santa Cruz won the team championship.
The competition was conducted by the Goa Body Builders Association (GBBA), an affiliate unit of the Indian Body Building Federation (IBBF) in six categories - 55kg, 60kg, 65kg, 70kg, 75kg and above 75kg, and men’s physique championship in the open category. The well-attended event was judged by Laxmikant Kunkoliker, Mahendra Dessai, Vivek Faldessai, Viresh Herimath, Vishant Gaude, Shubham Gauns, with Caitan Dias and Umesh Amerkar as stage marshals. Eighty athletes participated in the championship.
