Seventeen-year-old Alec Sequeira of Sirvodem Racing Clube de Goa, Navelim secured third place in SX 2 Group A Foreign Class at MRF Indian National Supercross Championship in Nashik.
Zabi Mulla, also representing Team Goa, was leading after a brilliant start but finished 5th. Other members - Aditya Samant finished 9th and Adarsh Kandy took the 10th place in Novice Category. Team Goa was coached by former national champions Alan Sequeira and Javed Shaikh.
The club has been recognised by SAG with Sports Minister Govind Gaude, Tourism Minister Rohan Khaunte, GIDC Chairman Aleixo Reginaldo extending valuable assistance to the team.
