The Goa Football Association (GFA) has officially approved the Competitions Calendar for the 2025–2026 football season, outlining the schedule for various leagues across different age groups and formats, including men's, women's, youth, futsal, and beach football.
Key Highlights from the GFA Calendar:
Goa Professional League: The state’s premier football competition will kick off on September 2, 2025, and run until April 30, 2026.
First Division League: Scheduled from January 20 to May 15, 2026. Second Division League: Will be played between November 1, 2025, and January 15, 2026. Third Division League: Set to take place from September 1 to October 31, 2025.
Youth Leagues: GFA U20, U18, U16 & U14 (Division 1): All start on September 15, 2025, and conclude on March 31, 2026. Division 2 of these age categories will begin earlier, on July 15, 2025, and wrap up by October 30, 2025.
Women’s Football: The Vedanta Women’s League will run from October 10, 2025, to January 20, 2026. The GFA U18 Girls League is scheduled from October 14 to December 15, 2025. The GFA U16 Girls League spans September 15 to December 15, 2025. The GFA U14 Girls League is slated to be held from October 1 to December 31, 2025.
Futsal and Beach Football: The GFA Futsal League will be held between January 10 and February 28, 2026. Beach Football will take place from November 20 to November 30, 2025.
