MARGAO: Goa played out a goalless draw against Telangana in the 15th Hockey India Sub-Junior Women’s National Championship 2025, held in Ranchi, Jharkhand.
Goa dominated proceedings and kept the crowd on the edge of their seats throughout the match. Despite creating several scoring opportunities, forwards Princess Tirkey and captain Riddhi Shejwadkar were unable to convert their chances.
In the second half, Goa continued to control the game, enjoying the lion’s share of possession and attacking moves. However, both Riddhi and Tirkey missed sitters, leaving the scoreboard untouched at full time.
