Hosts Holy Rosary Convent High School, Nuvem emerged champions of the Mother Veronica Cup U12 Football Tournament, edging past Marina English High School, Verna 1-0 in a tense tie-breaker after a thrilling 2-2 draw in regulation time.
The tournament, held at Nuvem, witnessed spirited participation from nine school teams, namely, Fr Agnel Multipurpose Verna, St Xavier Curtorim, St Anthony Majorda, Mae Dos Pobres Nuvem, Our Lady of Lourdes Utorda, St Joseph Convent Nagoa, Our Lady of Succour Nagoa, Marina English High School Verna, and hosts Holy Rosary Convent High School Nuvem.
On their road to the final, Holy Rosary Convent HS Nuvem registered wins over St Joseph Convent Nagoa, Our Lady of Lourdes Utorda, and St Xavier Curtorim.
Marina English HS Verna reached the summit clash after victories against St Anthony HS Majorda and Fr Agnel Multipurpose School, Verna.
