Regnex 4x4 off-road adventure club to hold ‘Mudmasters’ Challenge’ on Nov 27

PANAJI
Involved in adventure trails, camping and social activities in and around Goa, the Regnex 4x4 Off-road Adventure Club has announced its second competition event this year, after a gap of two years “ The Mudmasters’ Challenge “ Winter Run 2022 to be held on November 27 at Lotoulim plateau in Verna. The event will start at 9.30 am and apart from Goa, the organisers are expecting participants even from the neighbouring States, too.

Promoted by Force Motors, the event will be entertaining and exciting for both experienced off-roaders as well as newcomers, claim the organisers. The club’s president Regnar Fernandes, who is himself an active member of the off-road community, has represented in many organised events including Rainforest Challenge held in Goa every year. The club focussed and encouraged first-timers to off-road driving and have been very supportive to teach and guide them to be better off-roaders. The group explores all over and most of off-road trails in Goa.

This year’s event highlights one of its main attractions, ‘The Hill-Climb Challenge’. One of the event's four obstacle tracks where a competitor will start at the bottom of the hill and race his way up towards the exit point at the top of the hill. Mostly only the experienced with their capable vehicles will dare take up this challenge to win the ultimate prize, ‘The Mudmasters' Hill Climb Champion’.

Other attractions in the form of mini events to keep the crowd on their toes are ‘Vehicle tug-of-war’, ‘Fastest-on-foot’, ‘Treasure hunt’, ‘Reverse gear race’, ‘stock/ SUV category’, ‘Modified category’ and special entries for lady participants. There will also be vehicles to use for participants who don’t own one under applicable conditions.

The club began with a vision to bring together those who enjoy the outdoors, either for weekends away, holidaying in neighbourhood, just camping in the wilderness, or doing some fishing. The club started with one man’s adventurous spirit and has grown over the years to include many more adventurers.
