17th London Trophy: Peddem Bomm win, enter final

Peddem Bomm Sports Club scored a hard fought 4-1 win over Parish Youth, Nuvem to move into the final of the 17th London Trophy Inter-Village Football Tournament 2025 organised by Goa Velha Sports Club. 

In a fast paced encounter, Pawan Dhargalkar opened the scoring for Peddem Bomm SC in the 26th minute. Peddem Bomm Sports Club led by a solitary goal at the breather.

Parish Youth, Nuvem came all out in search of the equaliser but their strikers failed to find the Peddem Bomm nets despite various attempts. Samuel D’Souza made it 2-0 in favour of Peddem Bomm when he volleyed past the Nuvem keeper in the 51st minute. Rohan Kamble of Peddem Bomm scored off a free kick to make it 3-0 in the 56th minute while Santosh Bhulan made it 4-0 in favour of Peddem Bomm in the 57th minute. 

Parish Youth, Nuvem reduced the margin through an own goal by Peddem Bomm defender Akshay Dabholkar to make it 1-4 in the 60th minute. 

Nicolau Colaco, Shenoy Colaco, Francis Colaco of Parish Youth, Nuvem and Akshay Dabholkar of Peddem Bomm were cautioned by the match referee Jan Rodrigues. Schubert Colaco of Parish Youth, Nuvem was expelled from the match for a serious foul play.

Peddem Bomm SC will meet Guardian Angel SC in the final to be played on April 8.
