Regina Mundi High School, Chicalim created history by winning the State Boys and Girls under-14 years Inter School Football tournaments organised by the Department of Sports and Youth Affairs (DSYA) in the finals played in Cuncolim.
In the Boys’ final, Regina Mundi School beat Our Lady of Mount Carmel School, Arambol by 2 goals to 1 with goals by Alden Almeida and Athan Fernandes. In the Girls’ final, Regina Mundi School defeated Assagao Union School by 3 goals to 1 with their star player Siya Naik, scoring a hattrick.
