F C Global Music, Mumbai have come out with a special audioalbum titled ‘A tribute to Alfred Rose’ by Lorna. This is a special audio albumreleased to commemorate the 80th Birth Anniversary of the music legend andGoa’s only Melody King.
In this album, Goa’s nightingale Lorna belts out three ofRose’s hit solos; Gozali, Foldaria and Duddu. Besides the above tracks there isalso one medley consisting of other solos such as ‘Novem Voros’, ‘Mog MhozoKortai’ and ‘Sukhnne-Sukhnne’. The album also contains the all-time hit track‘I Lost My Heart To You’, composed by Rose and set to music by Frank Fernand.
The album also contains a few swing numbers such as ‘AtanchiOstori’, ‘Sokol Podlim’, ‘Tuzo Fuddar’, ‘Rupkar’, ‘Faleam Konnem Poilam’ whichare composed by lyricist and singer Socorro de St Cruz and rendered by Lorna,the music for the album has been recreated and arranged by Norman Cardozo andrecorded at the Audio Masters by Aurville Rodrigues.
Ever since the album was released a few months ago it hasbeen selling purely for its content. It is available at all leading musicstores in the state and Mumbai.
