Agalli made short work of Aguad 2-0 to win the Don Bosco Inter ward Cup football tournament in an exciting final at SAG artificial turf ground, Fatorda, on Sunday.

Simon broke the deadlock for Agalli in the 27th minute when he slotted past the rival goalkeeper with a snap shot. Swizel then made it 2-0 in the 23rd minute. At the other end, Agaud were confined to their own half and were at the receiving end of most of the attacking action. Crossing over, Aguad continued to enjoy the better share of exchanges but did not add to their tally. The following individual prizes were awarded: Best defender - Presley of Agalli, Best midfielder - Arvind of Aguad, Upcoming player - Flaton of Aguad, Man of the match - Simon of Agalli. Fr. Paul D'Souza was the chief guest and gave away the prizes to the winners and runners-up in the presence of other dignitaries.
